What are Pills?
Pills refer to solid forms of medication, such as tablets or capsules, used to treat various physical or mental health conditions. While many pills are prescribed to manage pain, anxiety, or other medical conditions, they can also be misused, leading to dependence or addiction. Prescription painkillers, sedatives, and stimulants are some of the most commonly misused pills, particularly opioids like oxycodone and benzodiazepines like Xanax.
Misuse of pills can result in serious health risks, including overdose, addiction, and long-term physical and mental health issues. Treatment for pill addiction often includes medication-assisted treatment (MAT), therapy, and support groups to help individuals regain control of their lives.
